Any past or new players to the area are most welcome to join our fantastic club and look forward to seeing you at training.
The Shepparton Youth Club United Cricket Club was formed in 2003 from the merger of Shepparton CC and Shepparton Youth Club CC.
The commitment from City of Greater Shepparton to construct new Club Rooms, to replace the WB Hunter rooms destroyed in the floods of November 2022, is fantastic news, and this will be our last season in the temporary training rooms and containers (canteen and bar). We have valued the support from both AFL and Council for these rooms, and continue to use the ‘Dome’ for events, including Darts, and presentation nights.
Our club was completive in all grades, with both our women’s teams making finals. Our senior mens A grade and under 12A team, where both competitive and lose to finals appearances., with the women’s team reaching the preliminary. Our A Grade team will be looking to secure more wins in 2025/26 and push into the top 6 for finals.
Currently we field Senior and Junior Teams affiliated with Cricket Shepparton and this will be joined by our Women’s Teams and our inaugural junior girls team(s) this season.. We also have an All-Abilities Program, culminating in the Harmony Cup Day in March 2026..
The township of Shepparton is in the heart of Victoria and is known as the “Food Bowl” of Australia with a large fruit growing and Dairy Industry. The Greater Shepparton area has a population of around 60,000 residents and is expanding daily.

Our main home ground is called Riordan Oval, which is a part of the Princess Park Sporting Precinct, located just a 5-minute walk to the Shepparton CBD and is surrounded by bush land and the Goulburn River. There are two grounds at this location, one turf and the other a hard wicket. Our training facilities are also located at the Princess Park precinct.
Our senior men’s teams compete in the 1st, 2nd and 4th divisions with Junior teams competing across the various age divisions. It is one of our clubs’ highest priorities to continue to develop our young cricketers to build them towards Senior Cricket.
Our Master Blasters (Wednesday evenings from 4pm) participated at MCG during the women’s test last season, and is a well attended and valued program.
We continue to foster a friendly social atmosphere off the ground and always try to be inclusive of our junior players and their families.
Our club has teamed up with Connect GV to deliver our All Abilities program and we have a good working relationship with Local Council and Shepparton Swans Football and Netball Club.
Between both original clubs we can boast 23 "A" Grade Premierships as well as a host of other senior and junior premierships. Our clubs have produced 10 Life Members of the Shepparton Cricket Association and 2 Legend Award recipients.
Our aim is to return to these successful days, and we are continually working towards these goals through our development programs and following our club vision and goals.
We look forward to seeing you at our club this year and welcoming to our new rooms in 2026/27.
